Water and Sanitation
- Capacity building of Women communities in Nuwakot, Ramechap, Sindhuli and Dolakha on the value of safe water and “SODIS technique”.
- Awareness creation on importance of clean water to childrens’ overall development and growth at the rural areas of hills: Pipaltar, Khanigaun, Yarsa, Manthali, Pokarbas VDCs.
- Awareness creation of rain water harvest in Nuwakot, Sindhuli, Dhading, Rasuwa and Ramechap
- Quality assessment of drinking water used by community people from, tube-well, ponds, dhunge dhara in rural community,
- Awareness programs on the use of safe drinking water and methods of purification in slum areas inside Kathmandu valley.
- Demonstrations of use of water purification reagent and emphasizing the importance of safe and clean drinking water to a person’s health.
- Awareness generation regarding water- borne diseases among community people and helped them to understand the importance of clean and safe drinking water.
